Will We Know One Another in Heaven?

John 14:6
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
I sometimes wonder if we will know one another in heaven.
This is a very touching song by Eric Claptons Song
Tears in Heaven
Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven?
Would you feel the same
If I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong and carry on
'Cause I know I don't belong here in heaven
Would you hold my hand
If I saw you in heaven?
Would you help me stand
If I saw you in heaven?
I'll find my way through night and day
'Cause I know I just can't stay here in heaven

While the Bible does not directly ask this question, the human heart does. David Padfield Adorning The Word, Volune 6
I know that I have been able to move through the grief process by believing that I will some day see my Mother in heaven.
There are many other family members that I hope and pray I will see there too.
Recently I was with my lovely niece whom I love dearly.
We were sitting in a Deli having a long awaited and highly blessed visit.
I heard a soft voice say "Mrs Holmes?" With a definite question mark on the end.
I was so deep in the moment with my lovely niece that the sound of my name shocked me back to the surroundings of the Deli.
I looked in the direction of the sound, to see a young man with glasses looking at me, as if to say with his eyes are you really Mrs Holmes?
I looked at him intently and he looked at me intently.
He said, "You are Mrs Holmes?" Again with that question mark at the end.
I said yes I am as I studied that face trying to decide how he knew my name.
I  knew that I must know him but it was just putting all the pieces together to recall a name.
Having taught pre-school for twenty years, having 20 children each year, added up to 400 little ones that touched my life.
When one teaches children that young they rarely remember you, even after a year.
I scanned my brain to see if I could put a name with that face.
I did vaguely remember some of the features.
The glasses where a huge clue.
Then the eyes beyond the glasses really stood out.
The body was the part that did not fit the picture.
It was like one of those computer generated pictures they do of children who have been missing a long time to show what they would look like grown.
In a matter of seconds from the time my eyes first met his, just as I was about to say his name, he said I am "****** *******".
I said, Yes, yes,******** I remember you but you have grown up so much.
The last time I saw  him he was 4 or 5 years old.
I said, "What are you up to these days?"
He said, "I just graduated for high school and I am going in to the Air Force in a couple of weeks."
So it has been thirteen years since I saw him.
No matter how long it has been since we saw our loved ones who have passed on, I believe that when(and if) we see them in heaven we will know them and they will know us.

However, it is not what I believe but what the scriptures say.
Matthew 25: 31 NASB
But the Son of May comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne.
V. 32
All nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separated the sheep from the goats;
and
V.33
He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left.
V. 34
Then the King will say to those on His right, Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
V. 41
Then He will also say to those on His left, Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;
