Genesis 1:14

As you noticed I was way late in posting my Winter post. It was actually already well into Spring but I loved the picture and decided to post it anyway.

Life is kind of like this post.
Good intentions that never get accomplished are not worth much.
Things that we love and cherish get pushed to the back of the closet.
There they lie, forgotten until we finally have to clean that closet out and do something with all those things that we have neglected for so long.
One thing for sure, God's intentions are timely and stand firm and true.
He keeps His promises and I am thankful that He is not like me with "good intentions" that never come to fruition.
"Then God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years;"
I am thankful that God gave us the seasons of the years and the seasons of our lives.
This time of the year I am reminded of my Mother who loved the Spring so very much.
She really struggled with Winter. She did not like Winter when everything was brown and dead. She came alive in Spring when she could be outside and breath the fresh air.
She loved Spring so much that she left this world on April 7, 2007.
Ironically, it was snowing that morning.
Spring brings a renewal to the earth and my soul.
It reminds me that God is still in control.
Thank you Father for Spring and the reminder of your might and power.
Jeremiah 10:6
"There is none like You, O LORD;
 You are great,
and great is Your name in might."
 Amen
