Are You Chasing Rabbits?


I have been trying to prepare lessons to teach in Zambia. My mind keeps jumping from one topic to another.  My husband calls it "chasing rabbits".
Lord God, Most Holy, Most High please calm my mind so I can prepare what You want.
Then this scripture comes to my mind.
Psalm 46:10 ASB
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.
Some times I have to stop, drop and roll as I used to teach my pre-school students about fire.
Some times I am running around like I am on fire, not knowing what to do, not getting anything done.
If I just stop, and focus on God.
If I just drop to my knees and pray and thank God for all things.
If I just roll all my cares and worries over to Him.
Then, I can refocus and get the fires put out that are hindering my focusing on Him and worshiping Him as He desires.

    Thanks for sharing on SweetTalkin' Sunday. I've been absent for a few weeks, and God surely wanted me to see this for I chase rabbits to often and need to relax my mind for his will to be done. Many blessings to you and the people you come in contact with in Zambia.
