How Much is One Soul Worth?

How much is one soul worth to you? How much is your soul worth to you? This lady thought her soul was as worth a lot to get in this water to be baptized. Would you take the plunge in this water or any water to know that your soul is saved?
How much is one soul worth?
I suppose it depends on who you are talking to.
If you are talking to satan he will tell you that one soul is not worth anything.
2 Corinthians 11:14
No wonder, for even satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
John 8:44
"...He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
If you are talking to God, He will tell you that one soul is priceless.
Matthew 18: 14
So it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones perish.
He will tell you there is not enough money in the world to buy one soul.
Luke 12:6-7
Are not five sparrows sold for two cents? Yet not one of them is forgotten before God.
Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.
There is not enough value in all the gold of the world to buy one soul.
1 Peter 1:18
knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold....
There are not enough diamonds in the world to buy one soul.
There is not enough oil in all the world to buy one soul.
There is not enough anything in the world to buy one soul.
God will tell you that all the souls in the world, past, present and future have already been bought and paid for with His own Son's precious blood.
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

1 John 4:9-10
By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten son into the world so that we might live through Him.
In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 8:32
He who did spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
ll Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
James 5:20
let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.
Acts 2:41
So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls.

p.s. I'm sharing a giveaway this week for a set of 4 Chistian CDs for children from Songs for Saplings. The family that makes them is currently translating their songs into Chichewa and making them available to the children of Malawi. I really admire their work, and your post made me think that you would, too :)
